Sport in Alicante

Actually, all other kinds of sports can be inclined in Alicante with the apparent exception of winter sports from aerial sports to horse riding, from shooting to tennis. The so-called Parque Deportivo Tossal is Alicante´s one outstanding place for sports. It is concentrated in one single perimeter of the superior public infrastructures in the city such as the sports grounds of the hippodrome, Athletics Stadium, José Rico Pérez football stadium, Central Pavilion, the gymnasium centre, Sports City, and the swimming pool complex. Spanish and European events as well as world championships have been celebrated in some of these installations.

The location of the Royal Regatta Club and the Alicante Sports Marina is the most interior area of the seaport. Royal Regatta Club has a smaller harbor area closed to skeet shooting range. Costa Blanca Yacht Club can be found in line with Albufereta Beach and there are so many golf courses to select from.
