Beaches in Alicante

Alicante is one of the most visited places in Spain. Located at the southern part of the Land of Valencia, Spain, this was noted as the second largest Valencian city. Alicante owes much of its economic revenues from its well-visited beaches. Blessed with an almost perfect weather throughout the year, this place has been known as a tourist destination for perfect beaches. During winter season, expect an average temperature of sixteen degrees and an average of thirty-two degrees on summer. Alicante offers a huge range of beaches to choose from. Aside from that, you can enjoy breathing in for an unlimited supply of fresh air, something that you do not enjoy everyday especially if you are living in the city. Perfect beaches, great climate, it is truly a perfect tandem for an ideal beach escapade!

The beaches found in Alicante are clean with soft sands. There are a lot of places to choose from wherein you can enjoy the nice heat of the sun wrapping your body. Because of the huge variety of beaches Alicante has to offer, it is best if you would search for something that will meet your preference or the type of enjoyment that you expect from the place.

One of the most visited beaches in Alicante is the Playa de San Juan. This seven-kilometer beach covered in white sand is easily accessible by tram. Aside from the magnificent view of the beach, this place is also for golf lovers as it is also equipped with an 18-hole golf course!

A smaller beach compared to the other beaches offered by Alicante is the Playa de la Almadraba. This place is almost an exclusive beach used by the residents of the surrouding complexes. It is also known to be a perfect destination for water sports.

Located at the Northeast side is the Playa de la Albufureta. This place has a historic background, as it was able to gain its name from the small coastal lake that existed on that spot. This place is known for great facilities as well as being almost current-free. Because of this, tourists can enjoy swimming in safety.

Enjoy the fresh view offered by green colored palm trees as you spend your time at the Playa del Postiguet. This 900m wide arc of golden sand beach is located at the heart of the city. This place is consistently awarded with the Blue Flag for its cleanliness despite the fact that it is one of the most visited beaches throughout the year.

If you are tired of the perfect, soft sand and prefer to have a rocky adventure, Cabo de las Huertas is the place for you. This place is not frequently visited because of the rugged coastline. But if you prefer to have a private stay while having a full body tan, this is the best place for you because there are not much people who are interested to access this remote area.

These are just some of the wonderful beaches found in Alcante. So if you are planning to have a summer getaway this year, be sure to put Alicante beaches on top of your list. You are sure to have a fun-filled experience you will not forget.
